Programmable power management
The Smart Power Alpha combines an eightfold mains filter, which can be programmed via RS232 interface, LAN and WLAN, and a power strip in the smallest of spaces. Eight C14 IEC output sockets are available for connecting audio and home cinema components in just a 44.5 mm rackmount height unit. The connected devices are protected against current surges of up to 40,000 A and are supplied with electricity that has been cleaned of interference. Connection to the mains socket is via a standard IEC C15/16 connection. The Alpha reduces differential and common mode mains noise, with each output jack being independently filtered to avoid cross-contamination with the other connected devices. The Alpha also integrates with Control 4 and Crestron smart home systems.
