Hegel Open Days at Vision

Hegel Open Days is coming to Vision — For one day, our demo room becomes a full Hegel showcase, every piece of the lineup powered on and ready for you to sit down and simply listen.

Joining us all the way from Norway is Andreas Bjørnstad, Hegel’s Sales Manager for South- and South-Eastern Europe. Andreas lives and breathes this gear every day, and he’ll be with us for the whole event to walk you through the lineup, answer the questions a spec sheet never quite covers, and share what makes Hegel’s Norwegian engineering sound the way it does.

Save the date: Wednesday, September 23rd, from 14:00 to 20:00, at Vision. Drop in for twenty minutes or stay the whole afternoon — there’s no fixed schedule and no ticket required, just an open door and a room built for great sound. Space for the guided demos is limited, so it’s worth reserving your spot ahead of time.

Meet the Team:

Hegel P30A — The Conductor

With poise and control it conveys all the details, the grandeur, the feeling, and the complexity of any piece of music. With precise timing and expert understanding of both the score and the musicians, The Conductor brings forth the music just as it was intended to sound. Its job is to control the power amplifier with a signal that is as true to the music as possible.

Hegel H30A — The Orchestra

The H30A’s job is to take command of any music on any speakers and make it sound as good as possible without ever breaking a sweat. The H30A is an absolute powerhouse of an amplifier. In its mono state it delivers a truly astounding 1100 watts in 8 ohms, and it is completely stable even with 1-ohm loads.

Hegel D50 — The Raven

Hegel has been perfecting the art of DAC design for more than two decades, and the D50 represents the pinnacle of that expertise. At its core lies the latest model DAC chip – a sophisticated tool with immense potential. The D50 takes extraordinary measures to ensure the purity of its sound reproduction. Its power management is designed to silence noise and deliver clean energy to every part of the device.

Hegel – Viking

Viking is a true native 16/44.1 CD player developed from the ground up for optimal performance on standard (Redbook) CDs. It is designed to deliver the most faithful sound reproduction possible by optimizing its components to deliver a high-quality output that is true to the original recording.

Hegel – H600

Hegel’s reference integrated amplifier. With its 303 watts per channel in 8 ohms, a damping factor of 4000, and 2 ohms drive capability, this powerhouse of an amplifier can drive any speaker with confidence and ease. The amplifier is a dual mono design, bringing it as close as possible to the performance of two mono amps in a single box. It also boasts a state-of-the-art preamplifier with the extremely precise volume attenuator found in Hegel’s reference P30A amplifier. The H600’s D/A Converter is a bit-perfect design, offering pure audio fidelity without any re-sampling or up-sampling.

Hegel – H400

The H400 is a Class AB amplifier, delivering 250W of power into 8 ohms, and is stable down to 2-ohm loads. With a remarkable damping factor of 4000, H400 ensures tight control over your speakers, providing precise and dynamic sound. H400’s dual mono construction and symmetrical layout ensure superior sound quality. It incorporates many of the same advanced features found in our reference integrated amplifier, ensuring unmatched performance. It includes the same Dual Mono design, the same robust streaming platform, and a high-quality bit-perfect DAC based on the one in the H600.

Hegel – H200

At the heart of the H200 is the powerful 150W analog Class A/B amplifier section. It uses Hegel’s SoundEngine2 technology to reduce distortion in real time. Instead of correcting errors after they have already passed through the amplifier, Sound-Engine2 detects distortion where it occurs and cancels it before it can travel further through the signal path. Combined with stability down to 2-ohm loads, the result is an amplifier that remains clean, composed, and controlled, even when the music becomes complex or the loudspeaker load becomes demanding.

Hegel – H95

The H95 is our entry-level integrated amplifier, delivering the renowned Hegel sound with enough power to effortlessly drive even demanding loudspeakers. With its high-quality built-in DAC, you can easily connect your favorite digital sources, whether it’s a CD transport, streamer, or TV
