The Genelec 7071A Long Throw Active Monitor Subwoofer features dual 12″ drivers and is well suited for 5.1, 6.1 or stereo monitoring in professional recording applications. Its 19Hz cut-off frequency, high sound pressure level and manual bass management controls allow the 7071A to complement both Genelec and third-party monitoring systems.
Genelec’s patented Laminar Spiral Enclosure incorporates a sheet of metal rolled between MDF side panels for excellent low-frequency response. Manual sensitivity, phase, bass roll-off, bandwidth and sum mode switches provide optimum flexibility and control in 5.1 surround, 6.1 surround and stereo monitoring environments.
