As an expansion of our award-winning server line, our K2 Summit™ high-definition (HD) production client features an HD super slow-motion capability; bi-directional operation; and, at only 2 RU, space efficiency. It also has unique features, such as extremely fast record-to-playout performance, that make it ideal for sports, news, live, and live-to-tape applications. K2 Summit is the only server that supports end-to-end SD/HD workflows in DVCPRO, MPEG-2, and AVC-Intra formats.

- HD: DV, XDCAM HD, XDCAM EX, MPEG-2 I-Frame & Long GOP, and AVC-Intra

- No channel trade-offs based on formats

· Play different formats back-to-back:

- SD and HD clips

- 720p/1080i

- DV/MPEG/AVC-Intra

· Instant replay capability

· Multiple SDI outputs per channel:

- SDI on-air output

- SDI monitor output with timecode burn-in

- Quad split multiviewer with audio level meters, clip name, timecode burn-in, count down, and transport controls

· Built-in mix effects on each channel:

- Video dissolves and audio cross fades supported via APIs and AppCenterPro playlist

· Fast boot times with embedded OS on CompactFlash

· Up to 8 internal hard disk drives or solid state drives (SSD)

· iSCSI or Fibre Channel connection to K2-SAN shared storage

· Import/export all formats as MXF OP1a, SMPTE 360M (GXF), or QuickTime

· File system enables edit-in-place of QuickTime files
